Hello everybody! I am JadedIvory. What a pleasure it is to meet you all! You may all call me Jade or Ivory or some variation of the two. ♥
Let’s see, where to begin, where to begin… I’m a 19 year old female who was born and raised in the Midwest. I’ve been roleplaying since I was 10 (way before I should have been, to say the least). I first started roleplaying in a group on DA, where I met some people who I thought I’d be friends with forever. As all good things do, our friendships ended and I moved on to bigger and better things. At the time, that better thing was Quizilla, which I had lurked on years before, but never known what it was. Roleplaying sparked a love in my heart that has carried on into my adulthood and now I feel as though I cannot get enough!
Aside from roleplaying, I enjoy cuddling with my grumpy old cat, playing video games, and reading. I’m an artist who also dips her interests into the more macabre, often reading up on and studying different psychological disorders and information about serial killers. I have a wide array of music taste, going from current pop music to gangster rap and all the way over to smooth jazz. I like to think of myself as a very complex individual who is shy, but very welcoming.
This is a YouTube specific roleplay request. If that doesn't peak your interest, my apologies. I have another list of other fandoms and interests, which is located here, but this is specifically for YouTube. Thanks! ♥
➼ The Rules
I don’t like being a hardass with my rules. I’m not a dictator and don’t aim to be one, but they are my rules for a reason. If you want to roleplay with me but something in my rules throws you off, please send me a message and discuss it with me; odds are it may be something I will budge with. You never know if you don’t try, right? Okay, that’s over; let’s get started!
① Writing & Length;; I write in third person format. While I cannot dictate how you write, I highly suggest keeping with the same point of view, as it may cause confusion down the road. As far as length, I love writing, so it’s no issue for me to churn out an 800+ word reply. My issue comes with writing less, as I struggle to summarize everything I want to write in 500 words or less. You may write however much you are comfortable with, but I cannot stress this enough: absolutely no one-liners.
② Spelling & Grammar;; Another point that goes hand-in-hand with the previous point, wouldn’t you say? Everyone seems to say the same thing: try your hardest, it’s understandable if English isn’t your first language, etc. I won’t drone on and on about this point specifically, as you’ve probably read it a million times by now.
③ Limits;; Tell me your limits straight off of the bat! Far too many times I’ve had partners build up to an essential part of the plot (a fight scene? a pair of newlyweds consummating their marriage?) and they suddenly back up and say they aren’t okay with writing that scene out. How do we avoid this? Talking about limits. I’m okay with anything and everything, so you don’t have to worry about making me uncomfortable. I’ll tell you right now (right here, right now) that it’s been ages since I’ve written smut. I’ve had a lot of partners drop me or quit the roleplay before it got to any smut, which sometimes disappoints me, as I used to love writing it. That being said, if you want to make it extra smutty (spicy? is that what kids are calling it nowadays?), we can do that. Like I said, just tell me!
④ Dropping & Commitment;; So here’s the thing: I’ve been ditched a lot. Part of me has began to wonder if it’s just me that is the reason people run off. Anyway, no pity party for me! I will not take it offensively if you tell me you want to quit the roleplay. I won’t be an asshole if you ditch, either. I know life gets in the way and your mental, physical, and emotional health comes before the roleplay, so I try not to get shitty. I just ask you keep me in the loop.
⑤ Original Characters;; I’ll put this simply: I’m not looking for a critique of my character, so I won’t critique yours. If you begin pointing out flaws or offer “constructive criticism,” expect to receive it. My issue is that there are so many fandoms out there and no character is totally original anymore. That doesn’t make your character a Mary-Sue or a Gary-Stu, just another character. So I don’t have any intentions of demonizing and/or criminalizing for a character that may have Sue/Stu qualities and/or something not entirely original.
⑥ Love Interests & Others;; Another repetitive rule: I play your love interest and my character and you play your character and my love interes. We divide responsibility of the side characters. This rule is not flexible. I have no issue playing f/f, m/m, f/m, and nonbinary couples/characters.
⑦ Communication;; I ONLY ROLEPLAY OVER EMAIL. This is another rule that is not flexible. We can talk and discuss the roleplay wherever else you would like, but the roleplay itself will happen over email. My email is ivoryjaded@gmail.com. I am in Central Standard Time, and will usually reply to emails between 7AM-12PM. Some days may be more or less negotiable on times, but that’s a general note of the time frame I’m usually active.
⑧ Passwords;; Yep, I have passwords, too. I promise this is the last rule, then I’ll let you guys go free! Just include one of the following, please. ♥
↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓
“Tame the ghosts in my head.” General, balanced roleplay.
“I’d be yours if you’d be mine.” Smuttier roleplay.
“We’ll conquer them all.” Angsty and/or darker roleplay (specify!)
“No flame burns forever.” A combination of two or more of the above.
